Family, friends, colleagues, and former students including the Jane Addams Fellows turned out for an event that celebrated the life and work of Robert Payton, for whom What is Philanthropy? is dedicated.  The event was presented by the Indiana University-Purdue University, Indianapolis (IUPUI) University Library, The IU School of Liberal Arts at IUPUI and The Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University.  Footage was shot of the fellows reminiscing on their experiences with Payton and how he influenced their lives and their work.  In addition, Executive Producer Salvatore Alaimo interviewed former colleagues and students who discussed Payton’s influence on them and the world of philanthropy.  This content will be included in the “Making Of” portion of the documentary.
