Documentary featured in producer’s hometown newspaper

Community_LifeThe Community Life featured an article on What is Philanthropy? and producer Salvatore Alaimo in their recent May 2 edition. The article talks about the making of the film and mention’s the screening at the Westwood Public Library.  “Having the Community Life cover the story of the documentary and mention the screening at the library makes May 5 truly a homecoming for me,” commented Alaimo.  “I have find memories of the library having frequented it as a kid as a member of their book club and later as a teenager working there.  I also have fond memories of the Community Life, too.  Local newspapers to this day provide a valuable service to communities in an age of media bombardment.  I always enjoyed reading articles about what was going on in the Pascack Valley and continued to read it when I visited my parents when they lived in Old Tappan, New Jersey.  Coincidentally, I delivered that newspaper for two years as a youngster and later worked at the company that printed it in Westwood,”
