Documentary hits new milestones

  • What is Philanthropy? has now been viewed by over 1,000 people from across the country at publicly held screenings. The largest attendance was 115 at The Loudermilk Center, in Atlanta, Georgia, and the smallest was 3 at the Branch District Library in Coldwater, Michigan.My motto has always been, and continues to be, “have DVD, will travel.”
  • The documentary’s web site now has been viewed over 31,000 times and has had over 15,000 visitors since its inception in 2012. According to WordPress, “A view is counted when a visitor loads or reloads a page. A visitor is counted when we see a user or browser for the first time in a given period (day, week, month).” The United States still leads all countries in views and visitors followed by Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, India, Tunisia, France, Germany, Philippines, Russia and Malaysia.
  • The documentary’s trailer on YouTube has now more than 13, 000 views.
  • It has been reviewed by two academic journals:

Journal of Nonprofit Education and Leadership
